Jer 29:11… “I know… the plans I have for you…” What a powerful Bible promise when someone is needing direction, counsel, answers, or confirmation.
Many, many people, of all ages, from time to time need direction. I love Jer 29:11 which states… “I know…” Whenever someone responses by saying, “I don’t know” I always encourage them to stand upon Jer 29:11 and allow God’s Word to respond with “I know”!
The following fourteen scriptures will give you a strong Bible foundation to stand upon as you are seeking God’s counsel concerning direction. Whether it’s about your future vocation or starting a new ministry outreach,
these fourteen scriptures will anchor your heart toward God’s Word and allow you to draw deep inner strength within your spirit as you listen and hear God’s counsel.
- Jer 29:11 Notice the first two words of this powerful scripture… “I Know” I draw great personal strength from God’s Word accepting that He knows everything I need, everything that is best for me, and exactly how and the best way to answer in every situation.
- Isa 55:11… “Continually guide you…” Every day the Holy Spirit is close and willing and ready to speak within our spirit and give direction. Never forget that God’s love and God’s word are ever-abiding and ever-present. Continually, moment by moment, and day by day… The Lord is continually guiding.
- Jer 33:3 “Call… And I Will Answer” God’s word reveals when you call… you can expect an answer!” Whatever you’re facing you today… there is an answer. There is a solution. There is a plan. There is an end! Call… And… I… Will… Answer!
- John 10:4 “I know the voice of the Good Shepherd… and the voice of the stranger I will not listen to”. Notice He is the “Good” Shepherd. A shepherd for good in your life. A shepherd who cares for you. And notice you know His voice! You know the voice of God and you know how to hear His voice of direction, counsel, instructions, and leading.

- Isa 30:21 This is the way… I love it when the Holy Spirit gives that sweet gentle nudge within my spirit and gives me the needed insight concerning a matter. Stand firmly on Isa 30:21 and boldly declare that the best path will be confirmed in your spirit.
- Ps 37:23 Your steps are ordered! Release your confession of faith and your prayer of praise and thanksgiving that your steps are ordered! There ordered! God has an order to your life and order to the things you are seeking Him about!
- Prv 21:1 The heart of the king is in the hand of the Lord and He turns it whichsoever way He desires… The Lord is well able to give you the needed counsel and direction you need. He will open one door and make it very plain that He has closed another. He is leading… Let Him Lead!
- Col 3:15 Let the peace… I always let God lead and speak to me by an inner witness of peace. God’s peace is ever-present. You know when it’s there… and you know when it is not! Take quality time and seek the Lord for your answers. Allow that inner witness of peace to settle inside of you and I have found that the more God’s peace grows and speaks to more I know His plan concerning what I am asking Him to help me with.
- I John 2:27 “And He abides…” The Lord has not forgotten you! He does not want you to live in fear, worry, and defeat! He is abiding… He is near… And He is leading you. Allow God’s Word to give surety within your heart that he is abiding.
- Ps 37:4 “And He will give you…” Delight thyself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart! He is the author of those things within your heart for Him! That’s neat! As you surrender, allow Him to be Lord, He will start birthing within you His plans and His desires! Oh, what a good Lord!
- Phil 2:13 It is God inside of you… The drive, the determination, the perseverance… All come from God! Your faith will become ignited by His Word! Your hunger for more of the things of God will rise and rise and rise!
- James 1:5 “Anyone needing wisdom… Let Him Ask!” Never tire of asking! Never tire of seeking Godly wisdom from the Word of God. Whatever you need… ASK!
- Matt 18:19 “touching anything…” Anything includes everything! Your prayer, your petition, your concern is never too big and never too small. Whether the cry is from the heart of a child or the heart of a grandparent… God’s care encompasses all!
- Mark 11:24 “And when you pray… believe… you receive! We boldly believe and boldly declare that our prayers are answered when we pray! Pray, by faith, your answer is now! Believe you receive now! Believe the answer has arrived! Now!
It is my prayer today that these scriptures will speak to you and give you great inner strength! We, as God’s children have answers! We have solutions! We have Hope! Learn to develop your faith in the Word of God! Let God speak. Let God lead. And let God’s Word be the final say!
