If you have ever been confused while reading your Bible, I have done something inconceivable just for you. I’ve condensed the entire Bible into four scriptures! Understanding this will give you peace, help you raise your children, pay your bills, and save your marriage. Are you ready?
1) For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16
The Bible is a message of love. God’s love. God’s love for the world. God’s love for you. In a world of cheap talk, God shows the ultimate love by giving His only Son, Jesus, to come to earth and represent Him. He gave dignity and value to all who came to Him. He loved and healed people His love didn’t stop there. His love took Him to Calvary to redeem you and me from an eternal hell. Need more love? He took your sicknesses so you could be healed. He took your failures so that you can be a success. He took your sins so you could be righteous. That’s the message of the Bible.
2) Christ in you, the Hope of Glory… Colossians 1:27
Can you keep a secret? The prophets could. For hundreds of years, they watched and waited for the Secret to be revealed. Then, Heaven’s Secret arrived… in a manger, died and rose again. Now, Paul lets the great secret of the universe out. “Christ in you, the Hope of Glory!“ No longer do you need to reach out to God. He’s IN you. No longer do you have to cry out for wisdom. Christ, your Wisdom is IN you. Because Christ is IN you, you have the authority over anything that would be contrary to God’s best. To become Christ, inside consciousness will change every area of your life.
3) The kingdom of God is within you… Luke 17:21
Let me teach you an easy way to stay on track with your core belief system. Compare everything you believe with the words of Jesus. I like what Bro. Charles Capps says, “Read the red and do what He said.” Jesus made a statement that confirms and explains the two other scriptures. He said in “The Kingdom of God is IN you.” He was preparing us for the outburst of Paul’s secret, wasn’t He? Don’t you see the Master’s message? He went to Calvary to purchase is now IN you. You don’t need to beg God for strength, courage, and joy. Those attributes are in Christ and He is IN you. Remember, you’re not a beggar, you’re a believer.
4) The just shall live by faith, and not draw back… Hebrews 10:38
Faith is acting upon God’s Word. If He said it, act like it’s so! The A-B-C’s of faith are Action based upon a belief in God’s Word and being Confident that what He said He would do. Growing in God is progressive. First, God’s love saves you, (John 3:16), and then He moves inside of you. (Col. 1:27) Now, that Christ is IN you, He advances His kingdom through you (Lk.17: 21) and it’s done through faith (Heb. 10:38) for His glory. Now, you’ve got it! The REAL message of the Bible.
As wonderful as the Old Testament stories and Bible heroes are, let’s preach, teach and share the REAL message of the Bible….and everybody said, “Amen!”
